"A few hours after I had started my day, Nadia woke up and asked if I wanted to go with her to a restaurant on the mountain. We climbed into her convertible Mercedes - a car I didn't even know they owned - and drove up the steep path. A car ride full of childhood stories, a view that would mesmerize anyone, and a little restaurant nestled above a hidden lake. I ate Sommersalat, possibly one of the best salads I've ever eaten; lettuce topped with cantaloupe, grapes, strawberries, apples, and bananas. The connection Nadia and I made during our trip was powerful and touching."
