"Jamie and I played badminton outside in the garden, enjoying the beautiful weather.  We tried speaking in German, but due to my very limited vocabulary, didn't get far.  To prepare me for my first day of school at the Kantonschule, though, she taught me a few Swiss German phrases.  Ich bi Meg as opposed to ich bin Meg; Ich wohn s'Riedera as opposed to ich wohne in Riedern."
