"The last day of Klubschule meant an end to the train rides every morning, to seeing our international friends, to exploring Zurich after class together.  We were given a quiz to see if/how our German had improved, then Frau Troxler sent us off on a scavenger hunt through Zurich, searching for historic facts about the city and country.  Billa, Rhi, and I wandered into a bookshop to ask the clerk if he knew any of the answers.  His English was very good, and we ended up talking for a long time about some of the deep political and ethical issues in Swiss v. American culture."
